OSTRI AFRIC-LOUNGE Our objective is to recognise, appreciate and showcase Africa's unique talent and creativity. The ability of Africans to make, by hand, pieces of art that communicate their inner feelings is formidable. In Countries like Zimbabwe, unemployment has made people realise that earning a living is not only through formal employment, but by using a "God Given Gift" to produce, by one's hands, something unique to sell. Small co-operatives made up of mostly extended family members are springing up in all corners. These co-operatives produce amazing and unique art and craft, which is a blend of the modern and practical world we live in, but with an African touch & twist.
